"Daydream"
Daydream across my blurry eyes by morning
Does a land of excitement and eternal mystery
Joy in life, eternal strife-
But the moral always get the victory
Daydream across my steady head by lunch time
Does a land of happiness and a little less misery
World at peace, world at war-
Against the evil in some souls
Daydream across my dizzy head at sundown
Does a land of endless love and understanding
Hand in hand, eyes looking in eyes-
An innocent love, yet somehow fulfilling
Dream across my heart by midnight
Of bright times, of eternal times
Of poetry, of myths, legends, and rhyme
And of a timeless time
