"Words Once Said"

Those words you once said have been erased
From this heart of mine.
They fell victim of carelessness and negligence-
And mostly- of time.

Those words you once said were true,
The would would really help me...
They would open my eyes again-
I would be able to see!

They would take me over oceans,
And I could fly beyond the stars,
I would be able to look at others
Exactly as they are.

I could change the future-
Be more than just a girl,
I could build a rowboat
And sail to the the end of the world.

I could sky dive from the heavens,
And drink from every lake,
I wouldn't conceive hating
Loving for love's sake.

I could live among the treetops
Without ever leaving home,
I could forge hills in to spheres
Instead of ordinary domes.

Those words you once said, though, are gone-
They have been erased from my mind...
One day they will be found and spoken again
By this soul of mine.
