Afraid of what's new-
New people,
New places,
New feelings.

Afraid of what's old
Finding me,
Confusing me,
Consuming me.

Afraid of change-
Of changing,
And losing
Everything.

Afraid of not knowing-
What's coming,
Who's coming,
Where I'm going.

Afraid of what makes me, me-
The strength,
The pride,
The expectations.

Afraid of letting people down-
My parents,
My friends,
Myself.
