Life’s a beach
Where the guys talk too much smack,
The under toe is a little rough,
And you’ve got sand in your crack.
But the sound of the waves is calming,
The sun warm on your face.
Here, solitude makes you want company,
And crowds, a bit of space.
There’s always more to look at,
And twice as much to show.
And slowly you’ll learn that high tide
Always comes after low.
So sit back in your favorite spot,
Hang with friends, grab a snack,
Because this is all you’ve got-
This beach, and that sand in your crack.
