"Miracles"
The cripple not so cripple
The blind man who sees he's not blind
The lame who thinks he's not lame
The kind man twice as kind.
The lost man not seen as lost
The bright man who sees he's bright
The born leader who leads
The right man who is honest and right
The joyous man who spreads his joy
The just man who brings justice
The criminal laying shameful claim upon his crimes
The business man who's more than just business
The defeated who overcome defeat
The distracted and astray man back on track
The haughty made humble
The wise man who sees everyone's surplus and lack
The brave man given an honest challenge
The hero who never accepts wrongful defeat
The humble man who takes his due credit
The tripped man back on his feet.
Be said, ordinary miracles, ordinary heroes
And somewhere, all man's time
There are men such as these
Who are man-made miracles, only half sublime.
