If we could see everything,
Then we wouldn't need faith;
If we knew everything,
Then we wouldn't take the time to believe;
If we would always think first,
Then we wouldn't need emotion;
If we could always stand tall on our own,
Then we wouldn't need friends;
If we always did the right thing,
Then we wouldn't need forgiveness;
If we always got what we want,
Then we wouldn't need dreams;
If we never got our hearts broken,
We wouldn't be able to pick up the pieces;
If we were complete from the start,
Then living would have no benefit.
