"As If"

Live each day
as if each flower was the last you'd see;
each role you play is the last you'll ever be;
each person was the last you'd come to meet;
each challenge you conquer was the last you could beat;
each step was the last before you fall;
each word you spoke made you big or small;
each dream you dream, may come true;
each hand you hold, may end up holding you;
each thought you concocted will become reality;
each urge in your gut, may entirely lack rationality;
As if
each action determined your ultimate momentary fate
As if you had to live, before it's too late.
