"Dream Land"
I wander along an untrodden path- grassy green and fresh
The smell of dew is in the air, but the grass doesn't wet my pants brushing against it
Castles left and right with dragons and birds high in the sky
Clouds upon the ground, right above me, but stars shine instead of sun
Pens write in glitter upon the deep black sky,
Books lie like eggs on Easter upon the ground, waiting to be discovered
I lie on a window bench, looking out a rose-covered window-
Vines of roses climb like beanstalks on all the buildings
Candles glow in the windows of all the city shops
Quiet, peaceful, alluring, all around me... my feet even feel lighter
Among me are my friends, oh so far away with me in Dreamland
Where everything is picture perfect- however the world itself could never be
